Fayette County Celebrates Independence Day & More

On Thursday, July 4, the Independence Day Parade begins at 9:00 a.m. on Peachtree Pkwy S (from Village on the Green to McIntosh Trail, ending at Shakerag Knoll/Huddleston Elementary). 4th Fest at City Hall Plaza – family-friendly event from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. will feature live music, entertainment, several food vendors, and activities for the whole family! Show off your artistic skills by helping us add some color to the walking paths of McCurry Park. Each person wishing to attend should pre-register so that we can make sure to have chalk for everyone!
