Summer Concert Series Going On Now at Southern Ground Amphitheater – Boz Scaggs – Fog Hat – Trace Adkins & More! – Minutes from The Canoe Club

Everyone enjoys great music and it is no wonder that Summer Concert Series have become so popular all across the nation. Fayette County has a special place to enjoy those concerts called the Southern Ground Amphitheater owned by the Downtown Development Authority and managed by the Main Street Tourism Association to bring great music and events to the local area.

The lineup for this month includes Boz Scaggs on June 9, 2018 and the box office opens at 6:00 pm.

After first finding acclaim as a member of the Steve Miller Band, singer/songwriter Boz Scaggs went on to enjoy considerable solo success in the 1970s.  Popular songs include “LowDown”, “Look What You’ve Done to Me” and many more.   Get tickets here

On June 30th. make your plans to see FogHat in concert. Southern Ground welcomes this 70’s blues-rock band with attitude.  Slow Ride was featured in the 1993 classic movie Dazed and Confused.  Hits include: “Slow Ride”, “Fool for the City”, and “I Just Want to Make Love to You”. Get tickets here

From Atlanta: Take I-85 South to Exit 61, Peachtree City/Fairburn. Turn left on GA Highway 74 and travel approximately 2.5 miles. Turn left onto Sandy Creek Road and travel 6.5 miles to GA Highway 54. At GA Highway 54, turn right and travel approximately 3/4 mile.
